All data in this report is from the Western Kentucky Regional MLS database on July 30, 2018. Here is a quick look at our Trigg county, single family home sales for 2018 year to date.
There are currently 112 single family home units on the active market in Trigg County. This is about the same number of available units that have been on the market for the last 4 weeks. National reports indicate that the inventory shortage in many locations is beginning to ease. Hopefully, we will see an increase in the next month or so. The average days on market for active homes is 166 days.
Year to date, 107 single family units have sold in Trigg County. This compares to 101 units closing in the same time last year. Sold units averaged 151 days on market. Sold units last year averaged 173 days on market.
Year to date sales break down follows: Homes sold at or under $100,000, included 27 units year to date with average DOM of 124 days and sale price average of $54.99 per square foot. Homes sold between $100K and $200K numbered 31 units year to date with and average 120 days on market and average sale price of $86.82 per sqft. Finally, homes that sold between $200K and $300K numbered 9 units taking an average of 182 days to close at an average of $93.65 per sqft.
So there is a quick look at the Trigg County sales report. Lyon county has a similar number of homes on the active market but has closed only about half the number of sales. Their under $100K sales sell a little quicker than Trigg County's but at about 10% higher average $/sqft.
